Feast Portland starts tomorrow, and chefs from across the country will be descending on our fair city to share their culinary skills and knowledge. It’s not too late to get yourself tickets to some great events.

Sandwich Invitational
This is where chefs are turned loose to put their own spin on the humble sandwich, and attendees get to taste-test the results. And when you throw in craft beers from Widmer Brothers Brewery to wash down those tasty bites, that sounds like a recipe for a great event.

Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting
Being held at Pioneer Courthouse Square, this 2-day event gives attendees a chance to meet chefs and winemakers. It will also feature cooking demonstrations both days, including a demo from friend of the site Naomi Pomeroy.

For the Drink Lovers Among Us:
Coffee That Rocks: Get tips and tricks on making the most of your coffee brewing.
Oregon Wine Pioneers: Discover the history of how Oregon became a world-class wine region and taste some of the results.
The World of Saké: Get the low-down on this popular beverage from Marcus Pakiser, Oregon’s only certified Saké Sommelier.
Strange Brew: A panel of brewers will explore the use of local flavors and ingredients, from the simple to the bizarre.
Gin and Juice: This panel explores the evolution of gin and will give you tips for your next cocktail party.
Belgium is a Place in Oregon: Celebrating Oregon’s gold-medal win for Belgian style beers at the World Beer Cup, this event features side by side tasting of Belgian-style beers both from Oregon and the motherland.

And that’s just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
